Shticks
Gun Schtick: Hair-Trigger Neck Hairs
Unique Schtick: Know The Odds
Weapons: Sling, kiseru
Wealth level: Rich
Background
Kentou's father had a gambling problem, and while Kentou was still a child
his father was killed over a bet gone bad, and a treasured family heirloom
taken. Though he got a brief glimpse of the killer, all he really
knows is that they were part of the gambling underworld. He knows
a couple of traits like wears an eyepatch, scar on forearm that let him
get led around by "leads." To find the killer, he went "undercover,"
joining a gang as first an errandboy/lookout and later becoming a skilled
gambler.
His search eventually got him entangled in a murder case, where he was
declared guilty by a samurai. Luckily, the case caught the attention
of a Dragon magistrate who investigated and not only found the real killer,
but figured out Kentou's past. The magistrate agreed to look into
the problem of finding Kentou's father's killer, and Kentou agreed to work
for the magistrate as a contact in the underworld. The two have had
a reasonable relationship so far.
"Kentou": written with the characters for an idiomatic form of "good
luck", but sounds like two words for sword. Not his original name,
which was Kenichi, written with the characters for First Sword.
